HOW TO APPLY

Thank you for considering a career at Henry’s Louisiana Grill. We’re always looking for energetic, talented, enthusiastic people to join our team. Applying with us is easy.

We are always happy to accept applications for hosts, bartenders, servers, bussers, dishwashers, line cooks, and prep cooks as well as managers, managers-in-training and chefs. For these positions, you may come in person Monday-Thursday 2-4pm to request an application from our hosts. You can complete it on site or take it home and return it to the host later. You may request an application by email by sending your resume to jobs@chefhenrys.com with the job you are applying for in the subject line. We will contact you if we find that your skills and experience meet our needs. Due to the volume of applicants, we are not able to return calls inquiring about your application status.

 

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

FOH Manager

  • Requirements:
    • Creates value for the restaurant through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
    • Effectively manages a restaurant with an ownership mentality within the policies and guidelines of the company ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times
    • Ensures maintenance of equipment, facility and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program

Line Cook

  • Passion for the culinary lifestyle; dynamic, driven, and team-oriented.
  • Competitive pay and path to promotions!
  • **Day/Night time positions needed**
  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience preferred
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to work in a high-temperature, high-volume kitchen for an extended period of time
    • Ability to lift minimum of 20 pounds
    • Communication proficiency
    • Time management

Prep Cook

  • Passion for the culinary lifestyle; dynamic, driven, and team-oriented.
  • Competitive pay and path to promotions!
  • **Day/Night time positions needed**
  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience preferred
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to work in a high-temperature, high-volume kitchen for an extended period of time

Kitchen Manager Trainee

  • Passion for the culinary lifestyle; dynamic, driven, and team-oriented.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Dedicated culinarian; creative, energetic, passionate about food
    • Professional communication skills, both orally and in writing
    • Organization skills
    • Demonstrates leadership skills
    • Works well under pressure
    • Can effectively solve problems
  • Compensation: Negotiable

Dishwasher

  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for using machine and manual cleaning methods.
  • **Day/Night time positions needed**
  • Requirements:
    • Available to work after midnight, occasionally
    • Communication Proficiency
    • Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals

Sous Chef

  • Passion for the culinary lifestyle; dynamic, driven, and team-oriented.
  • Practical experience necessary.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Demonstrates strong leadership
    • Responsible for all aspects of food quality
    • Dedicated culinarian; creative, energetic, passionate about food
    • Professional communication skills, both orally and in writing
    • Works well under pressure
    • Can effectively solve problems
